 1. Grand Central Park — Conroe, TX

 Homes from: Mid-$300s to $800s+

 Grand Central Park is a 2,046-acre community just off I-45 North in Conroe. It’s built around nature — hiking trails, natural lakes, and wooded walking paths wind through the neighborhood. Builders include Highland, Perry, Tri Pointe, and Chesmar. The I-45 location makes commuting to The Woodlands or Houston easy without the Woodlands price tag. If you want green space and convenience together, this one checks both boxes.

2. Harper’s Preserve — Conroe, TX

Homes from: High $300s to $700s+

Built around a protected forest, Harper’s Preserve has a quieter, tucked-away feel that a lot of buyers love.
