Houston’s First Vietnamese Food Hall Coming to Bellaire Market District

Houston’s culinary scene is about to get a one-of-a-kind addition — and it’s happening in the heart of Bellaire. Next summer, the city’s first Vietnamese food hall will debut at Bellaire Market District, bringing together 28 unique vendors, a second-floor bar, and live cultural events that celebrate Houston’s rich Vietnamese heritage.
A First for Houston
While Houston is already home to one of the largest Vietnamese communities in the U.S., this project marks the first time the cuisine and culture will be showcased under one roof in a food hall setting. Diners can expect everything from steaming bowls of phở and sizzling bánh xèo to modern takes on Vietnamese street food, coffee, and desserts.
Beyond the Food
The food hall will feature more than just a variety of dishes. Plans include:
- 28 curated vendors highlighting the diversity of Vietnamese cuisine
- A second-floor bar with cocktails, beer, and wine to pair with your favorite bites
- Live cultural performances and community events, offering Houstonians a chance to experience Vietnamese traditions alongside their meals
For many Houstonians, Vietnamese food is already a comfort staple, woven into the city’s dining fabric. But this food hall promises to be more than just a place to eat — it’s set to become a cultural hub where food, community, and heritage meet.
As Houston continues to grow as one of the most diverse food cities in the nation, the Bellaire Market District project reflects the city’s broader trend: celebrating cultural authenticity while creating new gathering spaces for residents and visitors alike.
Opening Timeline
Construction is expected to wrap up in time for a summer 2026 opening, adding another must-visit destination to Houston’s already vibrant culinary map.
