Houston’s Coffee Lovers Have a New Summer Plan: The HTX Coffee Crawl Is Back This July
If your ideal Houston morning starts with an iced latte, a cold brew, or a perfectly pulled espresso, you’ll want to clear your calendar this July. The HTX Coffee Crawl is officially returning, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most fun (and affordable) ways to explore the city’s local coffee scene.
Running July 1 through July 31, the HTX Coffee Crawl is a self-guided experience that invites Houstonians to sip their way through more than eight locally owned coffee shops across the city. Instead of a rigid schedule or guided tour, participants can visit at their own pace—whether that’s one café a week or a caffeine-fueled weekend adventure.
How the HTX Coffee Crawl Works
Once you secure a pass, you’ll receive a $5 credit at each participating coffee shop. That means discounted specialty drinks, a chance to try new menu items, and an easy excuse to revisit neighborhoods you might not normally explore. It’s designed to support local businesses while giving residents a fresh way to experience Houston’s ever-growing coffee culture.
Think of it as a coffee passport—no lines, no pressure, just good drinks and great vibes.
Why Houstonians Love It
Houston has no shortage of incredible independent cafés, but it’s easy to stick to your usual go-to spot. The HTX Coffee Crawl encourages locals to branch out, discover new favorites, and support small businesses that make the city’s food and beverage scene so unique.
Whether you’re working remotely, meeting friends, or just looking for a reason to get out of the house, the crawl turns your daily coffee run into a month-long experience.
Don’t Miss the Pass Release
The waitlist is currently open, and passes are expected to go fast once they’re released. If you’re interested in joining, keep an eye on updates and announcements so you don’t miss your chance to participate.
