A New Heart for a Growing City: What’s Coming to Fulshear Central

Big things are happening west of Houston and they’re starting right in the heart of Fulshear.
The city has officially broken ground on Fulshear Central, a 22-acre mixed-use destination designed to bring shopping, dining, work, and play together in one walkable hub.
If you’ve ever wished Fulshear had its own version of Katy’s LaCenterra, but on a slightly smaller, more intimate scale — this is it.
What’s Coming to Fulshear Central
Planned with both convenience and community in mind, Fulshear Central will feature:
- Retail & Restaurants – From morning coffee runs to date-night dinners, you’ll be able to do it all without leaving town.
- Office Condos – A place for local businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals to work close to home.
- Green Space & Concert Lawn – Perfect for weekend markets, live music, and seasonal festivals.
- Pondside Walking Trail – A scenic loop for morning jogs, after-dinner strolls, or a peaceful midday break.
A Destination Built for Connection
This isn’t just another shopping center, it’s designed as a gathering place. Imagine grabbing lunch on a patio, walking the trail by the water, then meeting friends for a concert on the lawn.
For a fast-growing city like Fulshear, Fulshear Central could become the new go-to spot for daily errands and weekend fun alike.
When Will It Open?
Construction is now underway, with the first phase expected to be completed in 2026. As the city continues to grow, this development promises to play a key role in shaping its identity offering both a community hub for locals and a draw for visitors from across Fort Bend County.
Location: East of downtown Fulshear (exact tenant announcements to come)
Opening: Phase one targeted for 2026
Why it matters: More than a shopping center — it’s a walkable, vibrant place to gather, work, and enjoy the outdoors.
