Houston’s Southeast Logistics Hub Expands with New 62-Acre Distribution Park

by Katie Day

Houston’s reputation as a global logistics powerhouse just got another boost. Alliance Industrial has announced plans for TriPort 8, a 62-acre distribution park coming to the southeast corridor near Ellington Airport. Designed with flexibility and scale in mind, the project will add over 880,000 square feet of Class A warehouse space to one of the city’s fastest-growing industrial corridors.

TriPort 8 will feature five state-of-the-art warehouses, offering spaces tailored to a wide range of tenants—from smaller operations needing 30,000 square feet to larger users requiring up to 250,000 square feet. The modern facilities will be equipped with the latest in distribution design, helping businesses meet the demands of today’s fast-moving supply chains.

Why Location Matters

The park’s prime site near Beltway 8 and Ellington Airport positions it perfectly for both regional and global connectivity. With easy access to:

  • Port Houston, one of the busiest ports in the nation
  • Major highways connecting the Gulf Coast and beyond
  • Houston’s air freight infrastructure at Ellington and Hobby airports

…TriPort 8 is expected to attract a diverse mix of tenants, from logistics providers and e-commerce companies to manufacturers and distributors.

The Bigger Picture

Houston’s southeast distribution corridor has already seen significant investment over the past decade, and projects like TriPort 8 only strengthen the region’s role in global trade. For the local economy, it means:

  • Job creation in warehousing, logistics, and transportation
  • A continued rise in industrial real estate demand
  • More opportunities for businesses looking to capitalize on Houston’s unmatched access to Gulf Coast markets

Alliance Industrial is set to deliver TriPort 8 in 2026, with leasing opportunities available for companies of all sizes. Once complete, the development will further cement Houston’s standing as a national leader in logistics and supply chain infrastructure.
