Volunteer for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Houston – Applications & Early Access
Houston is officially on the world stage for the 2026 FIFA World Cup — and the city needs your help to make it unforgettable.
With seven matches set to be played at NRG Stadium and an estimated 500,000 visitors expected to pour into the Bayou City, organizers are looking for 5,200 enthusiastic volunteers to help welcome the world.
Volunteers will play a critical role in creating an incredible fan experience, from greeting visitors and assisting at fan zones to supporting event logistics behind the scenes. Whether you’re a lifelong soccer fan, a proud Houstonian, or just someone who wants to be part of history, this is your chance to get in on the action.
Key Details:
- Volunteer Need: 5,200 people
- Event Dates: Summer 2026 (exact match days TBD)
- Location: NRG Stadium & official FIFA fan zones across Houston
- Visitors Expected: ~500,000
Applications officially open Monday, but you can pre-register now for early interview access — giving you a better shot at securing your spot on the team.
This will be the largest sporting event ever hosted in Houston, offering once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to connect with fans from across the globe and showcase the city’s hospitality on an international scale.
If you or someone you know is ready to represent Houston to the world, now’s the time to step up.
